About Us

Northern Adelaide Senior College is a senior secondary school exclusively for people over the age of 17. We offer adult students a second chance to complete the South Australian Certificate of Education through a wide range of subjects and VET courses.

Established in 1989 as Para West Adult Campus, the school offers adults living north of Adelaide high quality curriculum options and extra support to complete their studies.

Since 2011, all students attending the school have worked towards completing the South Australian Certificate of Education.

In 2015, the school was re-named Northern Adelaide Senior College and re-located to the former administration building within Elizabeth TAFE, now called The Hub.

Today, we’re still known for our high quality teaching and support staff, and for providing a welcoming and flexible environment for adult education.

Adult learning support programs

Our wide variety of learning support programs, include:

  • Intensive literacy and numeracy assistance
  • Counsellors, youth support workers and social workers to assist with the wellbeing of students
  • Specialist services for young parents, such as an onsite crèche, a midwife and our range of Family Learning programs (including Learning Together programs)
  • Extra support services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students
  • Subject selection assistance and career guidance

We’ve helped thousands of adults return to study, complete the South Australian Certificate of Education, alongside VET accredited qualifications, and better plan for their future careers.

Many of our students, who re-started their learning journey with us, have since gone on to make substantial contributions to the community through work, university and TAFE studies, and volunteering.
